Running History: After competing as a DII collegiate scholarship athlete in cross country and track, I have spent the past 30 years running, racing and coaching. My early racing involved mostly 5K, 10K and half marathon distances. In the last 10 years, the marathon has become my main focus and I have been privileged to qualify for Boston 12 times. After competing in over 100 road and trail races, my most meaningful racing memories are of running Boston in 2013 and 2014. Both experiences were life changing.
Coaching: In the past 10 years I have coached USATF track and cross country on the grade school and high school levels as well as cross country on the collegiate level. I have spent the last 10 years teaching beginner and advanced running classes as well as training adult runners for goal races including everything from local 5K’s to the Boston Marathon. I am an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer as well as RRCA/USATF/Lydiard Certified Running Coach.
My passion is to help runners take their running and racing abilities to the next level. I find great joy in helping people understand and apply the keys to becoming strong, efficient and successful runners. Whether you are a beginner wanting to progress properly, a casual racer taking on your first half marathon or a veteran looking to qualify for Boston, I am excited to help you reach your goals!
